The Griffins seek ways to pass the time and calm their nerves when a hurricane hits Quahog. Brian ingests dangerous substances and psychedelic mushrooms that cause him to see bizarre and unsettling things, and acts accordingly. Meanwhile, the rest of the family is bored and irritated, and Meg finally lashes out at Chris, Lois and Peter when they push her too far.
